Writing, workshops, rehearsals, experimentation and community creation.
Our first live production brought the work onto a real Silicon Valley stage.
Engineers, artists, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, students and volunteers.
Our next live production is planned for Saratoga, California.
Silicon Valley Twelfth Night grew out of nearly two years of writing, workshops, rehearsals, experimentation and community collaboration.
More than 60 people joined its creation and first production — engineers, artists, writers, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, students and volunteers. Participants brought Chinese, Indian, Latino and many other cultural and immigrant backgrounds into the same creative process.
Shakespeare gives this community a shared language for timeless questions of love, identity, ambition, belonging and misunderstanding. We ask those questions again in a world transformed by AI.
AI can generate images, music, voices, video and stories. Live theater begins somewhere else: a human being walks onto a stage, another human being is there to watch, and something unpredictable happens between them.
Through comedy, we explore the challenges, contradictions and hopes of the AI era — and the effort to imagine a civilization in which humans, AI and robots can coexist without surrendering human creativity.
